After working in the construction industry since the ages of 18 and with a combined work experience of over 30 years, Michael Daly and Michael Busse decided it was time to make their own path and start their own company. Established in October 2002, MDB Interiors, Inc. began as a three-person team operating from a small office in Novato, California. Since then, the company has grown significantly while remaining committed to the principles that defined its foundation — quality craftsmanship, excellent and dependable service, and integrity in every aspect of our work.

With their background in interior carpentry, the Mike’s decided the primary focus of work would be in interior finishes. Today, we specialize in the installation of Architectural Casework, Custom Millwork, Doors, Frames, and Hardware in commercial construction projects. We are a company that believes in a livable wage for their employees, and that is why we are proudly a member of the Northern California Carpenters Union. Our service is provided throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including North Bay, East Bay, South Bay, and a little beyond.

In 2023, co-founder Michael Busse retired from MDB Interiors, Inc. after more than 20 years of dedicated leadership and service to the company. Michael played an instrumental role in shaping MDB Interiors into the company it is today, and we are deeply grateful for his commitment, guidance, and lasting impact on our team. We would like to thank him for all he did for us as a company leader and friend.

Today, under the continued leadership of Michael Daly, MDB Interiors continues to build lasting relationships through dependable performance, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence on every project.
